History
"Hearty Welcome to the JSS Industrial Training Institute, Mariyala, Chamarajanagar."
This industrial training institute was started in 1981 to cater to the needs of the rural people in education and employment by the philanthropist and visionary his holiness Jagadguru Shivarathri Mahaswamygalavru. JSS ITI is located in Mariyala, Chamarajanagar district in a plot of 5.23 acres. This institute is affiliated to Director General, Employment and Training, New Delhi. The following courses are being offered.

This institute has also obtained accreditation through Quality Council of India for the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant during the year 2014.

The institute has commendable infrastructure, full-fledged staff, well equipped laboratory and voluminous library cater to the trainees of this institute. We also imparting short term courses cater to the need of rural unemployed youths by offering skill training and entrepreneurship culture in collaboration with various sponsoring agencies like District Industries Centre, GOK, Women Development Corporation, Department of textile, Department of Urban Development Corporation, NABARD and Deportment of Science and Technology. The institute already trained 2850 candidates in formal and National Trade Certificate issued for successful candidate. There were 4200 rural unemployed youths have been trained since from last 5 years in the area of Electrical, Electronics, Welding, Plumbing, Garments, Candle Making and Beautician.
The training cum production activity in the garment has been established by engaging 100 rural women in the premises. The product of the Garments centre will be catered to requirement of uniform of JSS institution in and around Chamarajanagar and will supplied to the market.
The JSS ITI, Mariyala, Chamarajanagar is also registered as Vocational Training Provider (VTP) under Modular Employability Skill by the Ministry of Skill Govt. of India. Under the scheme the institute organized training program in Beauty Culture and Hair Dressing, Electrical, Electronics, Fabrication, Garment Making, Information and Communication Technology and Production & Manufacturing sectors since from 2007 to 2014.
The institute annual intake capacity for admission is 128 and every year 100% admission is made. We also achieve 50 - 75% results in every year. Full-fledged workshop has been provided for each trade and 2540 no of books have been provided in the library.
The institute also organized cultural Fest and Sports meet and other social activities like environmental Cleaning, Gardening and Planting of Sapling etc. The institute has the NSS unit through which we conduct national festivals and NSS Camp at rural places. This institute has its own 40 capacity school bus and necessary transport facility has been provided for needy trainees from Chamarajanagar.
